Tehelka is back! Noticed a copy lying in a bookstore and picked it up. Most of the articles have a sensationalist spin - from why Shoaib Akhtar was chucking the ball during the India-Pakistan match; to where the Finance Minister and the RBI are ignoring scams under their noses. Very Mumbai Mid Day feel to it. They have an online version with articles in a similar vein, but that requires subscription...

For those that need their memories jogged - Tehelka's team of cowboy journalists were the centre of media frenzy back in 2001 thanks to their sting - Operation WestEnd that taped prominent politicians "accepting bribes" during an "arms deal". Lots of noise, but it ended up changing little and hurt few apart from the Tehelka team and their backers.
